James is a remarkably compassionate and sincere man, known for his warm demeanor and genuine interest in the well-being of others. Professional Timeline

1993 - 1996

Completed a Bachelor of Science from Queensland University of Technology (BA SC).

1997 - 2000

Completed a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from University of Queensland (MBBS).

2002 - 2011

Moved to UK where Dr Reidy commenced specialist training rotation in the UK and received excellent trauma exposure.

2011 - 2012

Completed 3 fellowships in Australia. Hip, knee and revision arthroplasty. Sports knee and trauma.

2012 - 2013

Senior Consultant at the Pelvic Firm Unit in the Royal London Hospital.

2013 - 2015

Upon Dr Reidy’s return to Australia, he then commenced working as a staff specialist at Gold Coast University for trauma and lower limb arthroplasty. Established a Pelvic Trauma Unit at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

2015

Dr Reidy was recognised as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. This is a qualification awarded to doctors who have successfully completed several years of extensive surgical training.

2016 - Current

Dr Reidy became a Consultant Surgeon at Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital.

Dr Reidy commenced and continues to consult in his private rooms in Southport. He operates privately out of Pindara Private Hospital and Gold Coast Private Hospital.
