Dr. James Reidy is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon with over two decades of practice. He holds qualifications in both Australia and the United Kingdom, where he gained comprehensive exposure across all facets of orthopaedic surgery. His expertise primarily focuses on hip and knee conditions, including sports injuries, joint replacement, and trauma surgery.

In addition to working in Australia, Dr Reidy brings a wide range of expertise from his time spent in the United Kingdom, including three years of intensive trauma exposure at the Royal London Hospital – which is regarded as one of the United Kingdom’s busiest major trauma centres.

He played a pivotal role in establishing a dedicated pelvic fracture trauma unit at Gold Coast University Hospital, eliminating the need for patients in South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales to travel to Brisbane for treatment.

Known for his transparent communication style, Dr. Reidy involves patients and their families in decision-making processes throughout their care journey.
